If you are not already a ninja, here is a rundown on Card-Jitsu.
Card-Jitsu is a card game located in the Dojo. You must rise through the belts in order to gain the black-belt. Once you earn the black-belt you must face the Ninja Master – Sensei.
The game is a complex version of Rock Paper Scissors – except that there are some added elements. Here is a picture of a card:

Labeled Card-Jitsu Card
The three Elements, Fire, Water, and Snow, are similar to Rock, Paper, and Scissors. Fire melts Snow, Snow freezes Water, and Water puts out Fire. Remember this, as this is the first thing that you will win by.
The second thing is Number. If the elements are the same, the highest number wins UNLESS….

Card-Jitsu Lowest-Wins Icon
The previous card had Fizz. Fizz is the bubbly stuff around the edges of the card (see figure). If this card is a 1 (or if you have a special deck of cards) then this symbol will go to the top-middle of the screen:
It means that in the next round, if the Elements are tied, the lowest Card will win. This icon is sometimes referred to as the Recycle Icon for its resemblance to a Recycling sign.
Now, I will just list a couple of helpful hints that have worked for me.
- Think more steps ahead for harder opponents. When you play agains low-belt players, think only 1 step ahead. For Green belts, think 2/3 steps ahead, ect.
- Always play in Competition Mode. This mode is so much faster than playing on the mats. Only play on the mats with friends. Here is where it is located.

- The Elemental Powers always come first. Even if there is a Recycle Icon at work, always pick cards for their Elements, and if you have more than one, then choose the Number. For example, if I this round is a Lowest-Wins round, and I think my opponent will play a Fire Card, I should play a Water Card no matter what. Next, I pick the Color I need to win/get close to winning OR I pick the lowest Number Water Card. But most likely, you will want to play a winning Card.
These hints should help get you started on becoming a Ninja!
